FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

New Magazine Uses Positive Role Models To Change Young Lives

Inspire Youth interviews successful young people as an example others can follow.

London, 28 February, 2011 - Intensify Youth has launched the first edition of their free online magazine called Inspire Youth. The magazine uses the power of positive role models to provide young people with real-life examples of the success that is possible for every reader.

Dan Atkins, founder of the Inspire Youth magazine explained:

“It’s about showcasing young people who have overcome the odds, dreamed a bigger dream and achieved success at an early age. Then it’s about helping the readers say: “If they can do it so can I” and helping them have the confidence to follow their own dream.”

The interviews show how young people make a positive impact on their lives, their community and the world through music, sport, enterprise and the voluntary sector.  The goal is to get the magazine in the hands of students in schools worldwide and to make an impact on their mindset before they fall through the cracks in the education system.

Inspire Youth is the brain-child of Daniel Atkins, a 30 year old teacher and social entrepreneur that wants to improve the lives of young people all over the world. As a teacher with ten years experience of the poor results achieved by the current educational system, he has seen first hand the need to give young people more support:

“They are helpless in a system that is failing them. They're labelled failures from an early age, left to fend for themselves and lack the support they so desperately need.”

The first issue of Inspire Youth magazine features a young British actress, Sasha Jackson, who stars in the movie ‘Blue Crush 2’; the group Unique Muzic who write inspirational rap music; Sabirul Islam who helps young entrepreneurs with their business; and The Popular Kids who have their designed their own clothing range.

Leading by example has always been the most effective way to get a message across. Inspire Youth is not about telling young people that they all have to aim to be famous singers or footballers; the message is that they should be the best that they can be and follow their dreams.

Inspire Youth started in the United Kingdom, but future editions will feature young people from all over the world who have overcome the odds to achieve success in their chosen field. Schools, youth organisations and even parents can use the magazine as a tool to inspire young people looking for a positive role model in their lives and a goal they can see is realistically achievable.

Intensify Youth is looking for distribution partners worldwide to help get in the hands of as many young people as possible.
